Our Internal Timber Shutters easily elevate your living area with class and style. Proper maintenance and care for your Timber Shutters increases their longevity while keeping them looking brand new.
Below is a simple guide on how to care for your Timber Shutters. If you have any concerns or enquiries on how to best clean and care for your window furnishings, give our friendly customer support team a call on 1800 133 278.
Removing dust from your Internal Timber Shutters is the first step to ensuring they stay fresh. Gently flip the blades to face the same direction; dusting the entire surface with a dry microfibre cloth, duster or vacuum cleaner (soft furniture attachment). Repeat with the blades flipped in the opposite direction. Pay attention to the corners or hinges where dust can get trapped and build up over time.
Removing grease, dirt and dust build up with a damp, soft cloth. If necessary, you may use a gentle-mild detergent that is diluted for extra care.
Make sure your Internal Timber Shutters are dried properly by wiping them down with a dry cloth after the dust has been removed. You can open the blades allowing air to help with drying your shutters.
Do not use any harsh/abrasive chemicals to clean your Internal Shutters to avoid damage. Gentle-mild detergents are suitable.
