First Homes. Family Homes. Forever Homes. Choosing the right shutters and blinds for your home (a case study)

Updated: Apr 24

The best customers are like friends. Just like any good relationship, this does not happen overnight. Developing trust between us and our customers takes days, weeks, and sometimes months of hard work and effective communication. It's a journey.

We first started speaking with Craig, Lisa, and Steve in June 2020 when Lisa was deciding between subway tiles and a standard splashback at their soon-to-be-constructed 'forever home' in Banksia Beach, Bribie Island. Steve (Lisa's father) was going to move to the new home (along with his MASSIVE boat), and Craig and Lisa would spend the weekend and holiday there.

Over the next few months, we went back and forth looking at colour samples, frame styles, and our never-ending supply of fabric choices for Lisa to agonise over. We visited the property during construction to conduct check measures, plan installation, and reassure Craig and Steve that Lisa would, in fact, choose a fabric colour eventually!

Construction delays, weather and COVID-19 were against us, but we finished in time for this wonderful family to have Christmas in their beautiful new home.

Craig, Lisa, and Steve have spent countless hours finishing the landscaping and furnishing the property, and they can now finally start to enjoy this stunning home.

We loved working on this Forever Home Shutters & Blinds project, which featured a mix of Plantation Shutters, Panels, Glides, and Zipscreens. Most importantly, we loved getting to know this fantastic family. This home exudes warmth yet is modern and sleek, truly the epitome of beautiful beachside living.
