Trainee Installer – Northside Shutters & Blinds

Northside Shutters & Blinds is a locally owned and operated Brisbane business, and we’re on the lookout for a trainee installer to join our growing team.

This is a full-time position, but we’re also open to a school-based trainee arrangement for the right person, with a view to transitioning into full-time work once school is completed.

As part of this role, you will undertake the MSF30919 Certificate III in Blinds, Awnings, Security Screens and Grilles—a nationally recognised traineeship that provides hands-on experience and real industry skills. The qualification covers installation, fabrication, product knowledge, safety, and customer service, and is designed specifically for our industry.

You’ll be learning on the job alongside:

• Our owner, a qualified carpenter with years of trade experience

• Our full-time installer, who holds the MSF30919 Certificate III qualification and brings a wealth of practical knowledge

  
  

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn

• Enjoys hands-on work and being out and about

• Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in doing a good job

• Wants to build a long-term career in the industry

  
  

A manual driver’s licence (or working towards one) would be an advantage, but it’s not essential.
