We're hiring a Trainee Installer (Shutters, Blinds, Awnings & Security)
Northside Shutters & Blinds is a local, family-owned and operated business with staff working across various sites throughout South-East Queensland.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the Trainee Installer role. The successful applicant will complete a two-year traineeship undertaking MSF30919 Certificate III in Blinds, Awnings, Security Screens, and Grilles.
This qualification equips participants with the skills and knowledge to estimate, fabricate, assemble, and install blinds, awnings, shutters, security screens and grilles using a range of materials, fixtures, and fittings.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Installation Coordinator on a daily basis and assist our office staff in developing and preparing estimates and sales tenders.
Skills & Experience
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Current manual driver's licence and reliable vehicle are essential.
· Attention to detail, exceptional manners, and presentation.
· It would be desirable if the candidate had experience using basic tools, i.e., drills, tape measure, etc.
We are looking for someone reliable, motivated, and keen to learn. This is a great opportunity for a recent school leaver, so junior rates will apply.
